Airthrie Choirs

Airthrie choir gives children of all ages an opportunity to be part of a great musical experience.  Normally, the choir is open to children from Years 1-6, however, during the Autumn term we limit attendance to pupils who are performing at The Town Hall.

We work to broaden the children's performing abilities and they often choreograph dance routines alongside songs in 'Glee' style workshops.  We also cover traditional pieces and develop their abilities to sing in harmony.

We strive to run a fun and inclusive club that works hard to develop skills that enable the children to step up to any formal commitments for which the choir may be required.  Our older pupils normally perform at the Cheltenham Choral Society's Christmas Concert at Cheltenham Town Hall.

For the last three years we have taken a group of pupils from Years 5 and 6 to sing at the Genting Arena in Birmingham at Young Voices.  Around 6,500 pupils take part each year and it is a truly memorable experience and one that we hope to repeat for many years to come.
