Time at Airthrie: 22/08/2018 (2 years ago)
From 1987-2010 I co-directed and sang Bass with the internationally acclaimed vocal ensemble, The King's Singers. As well as having performed in excess of 120 concerts each year for almost a quarter of a century, I have made frequent appearances around the world on both TV and radio and recorded extensively with EMI, BMG Records, Signum Records and Sony, collecting many awards - including three Grammy nominations and a Grammy.
From 2010-2016 I was full-time Head of Vocal Studies at Cheltenham Ladies' College where I was responsible for all singing teaching and choral activities.
More recently, I have devoted much time to offering masterclasses and workshops as well as residencies with choirs as guest conductor. I am a regular jury member for the European Grand Prix for Choral Singing Competitions and the UK’s Choir of the Year competition.
In 2008, I founded the International A Cappella School which offers a series of annual residential choral courses for singers from around the world.
