Time at Airthrie: 01/09/2016 (a year ago)
Qualifications: BA (Hons), CTABRSM FISM
Specialist Subjects: Music - Violin
I started teaching the violin and piano in 1999, having previously helped a few young students when I was a teenager. I studied Music and Special Needs at Wolverhampton University with the main goal of becoming a Music Therapist.
I started off with a handful of piano students which has gradually grown over time. I then studied for my teaching certificate with the Associated Board of the Royal School of Music.
I am now privileged to work in ten Gloucestershire schools as a violin/viola teacher as well as doing whole class ensemble teaching with Gloucestershire Music. I also have a small amount of private pupils most evenings.
