Cedar 'Roman' day

Jumping back in time, it couldn’t have been more fun last Tuesday as we opened the doors to Roman soldiers, Gods and Goddesses. What fun we had learning about life as a Roman child, Roman numerals and Roman mosaics.

The children also enjoyed a Roman feast during the afternoon where they sampled an authentic spread including various fruits, apricots, prunes and goblets of red wine (blackcurrant squash), but we pretended!

We were so proud of the children for all their outstanding costumes and their contributions to Roman Day which couldn’t have happened without their energy and team work. Thank you very much parents for supporting your children and providing the imaginative regalia!
