What Can I See?

The Art Club children have explored what they can actually see in their own still life work before completing a mixed media representation of a Matisse still life.  Over the course of the term they have worked with pencil, watercolour and poster paints; developing their attention to detail, shading, brush stroke skills and colour mixing.

Matisse (31 December 1869-3 November 1954) was a French artist known for both his use of colour and his fluid and original draughtsmanship.
