Last night, as part of Cheltenham Choral Society's annual Tapestry of Christmas Music, Airthrie's Choir stole the hearts of the audience, bringing many a tear at the Pittville Pump Room.
Their singing was committed, focused and of great beauty, as they treated the audience to four seasonal songs, including renditions of The Snowman's Walking in the Air
and a wonderful arrangement of Silent Night.
Appearing in both halves of the concert, our pupils held the attention of the audience with their clear diction and a well-polished performance; all with a determined and intense commitment - even at such a late hour!
The Choir has worked very hard this term and, clearly, were thrilled with their own performance last night and the rapturous applause they received.
Mr Parham-Connolly directed the Choir and we were fortunate to have the talents of Mrs Beck on the piano.
