Junior and Senior Choirs compete at the Cheltenham Festival

Last week our Junior and Senior Choirs performed at The Cheltenham Festival of Performing Arts.  It was the first time Airthrie's Junior Choir has performed outside of School and what a tremendous accomplishment it was.

Twelve pupils from Years 1 and 2 came together on the main stage of Cheltenham Town Hall in front of an audience of hundreds of parents and other children and sang beautifully.  The adjudicator commented positively on their commitment, focus and legato singing and, of course, we were immensely proud of them all.

Our younger singers were followed by the Senior Choir who, we're delighted to report, also delivered a polished and poised performance.  They responded magnificently when directed and deserve to be incredibly proud of such a strong performance - you could certainly hear their Gospel Train Coming!

Congratulations to everyone involved in this event.
