Easter Tree

Thank you to so many of our pupils who embraced wholeheartedly the idea of our Easter tree by bringing such beautifully decorated eggs to place on its branches.

This morning, during the whole school's end of term assembly, each year group's eggs were judged by the children in the year group below, with the honour of judging our youngest pupils in Acorn being left to Year 6.   There was an amazing variety of eggs such as blown duck and chicken, wooden, polystyrene, as well as glued string wrapped around a balloon which was then popped and removed; and finishes involving tissue paper, nail varnish, googly eyes, glitter, butterflies, feathers, gems, treasure boxes and pearls which resulted in a sometimes very close and difficult decision to be made.

Finally, to two-handed drum rolls by the whole school, favourites were chosen and the winners are:

Happy Easter!
