We began our meeting yesterday by reciting the first part of our motto:
Thetford Forest is our name
In our house we have one aim
TO WORK TOGETHER AS A TEAM
We split into 4 teams headed by our Forest Leaders and each team were given paper pebbles. On these pebbles they could write the names of creatures in the forest, some adjectives, verbs and small words too. The individual groups then arranged their words to make up small, fun poems. There were some delightful examples:
Rivers flow very slow down the hill.
Nothing in the forest is ever still.
Badgers rustle in the bushes
Foxes jump very high up in the sky.
Little spiky hedgehogs scurry and find leaves.
Well done, everyone!
