Year 5 Bread Making at Waitrose

Yesterday, our Year 5 pupils were delighted to go on an outing to Waitrose (as part of our Design Technology curriculum) to learn about the contribution bread can make to a healthy diet and we also had the opportunity to make some pizza dough.

We were then given samples of many different types of bread such as sour dough, hot cross buns and croissants to bring back to School where we were able to compare their tastes and textures.
