River Chelt Outing - Year 415th June 2016

Written by: Sue Elliott

Just before half-term Year 4 pupils walked to the River Chelt to explore this local river's wildlife. The children donned their wellies and were invited to take turns in the water to fish for wildlife with a net. Working in small groups they observed their findings and recorded the results. Whilst waiting for their turn the children drew detailed sketches of the riverbank flora.

Our grateful thanks to Mrs Brewis and Mrs Hall for leading this exciting afternoon.
