Yesterday, in our final netball match of the season we were delighted to score a goal against Cheltenham College. Our lack of goals does not represent the dedication of the children and their fighting attitude. With 8 -minute quarters and no reserves available, Airthrie needed to utilise all their fitness.
There were signs of improved team play in the match yesterday and last week's game against Rendcomb at home.
The defence has been strong in all our games; however, attacking play is much more positive.
Well done to all pupils who have played this season and especially to Wolfie Cross who was chosen as Man-of-the-Match by more than one of the opposing teams we played.
