On Wednesday 1st March twelve pupils from Forms Poplar and Alder were lucky enough to visit L’Artisan restaurant in Cheltenham with Madame Dale and Mrs Houghton-Brown.
We walked to and from the restaurant where we were warmly welcomed and spoken to purely in French by the lovely hostess, Elisabeth.
The pupils were all encouraged to ask for a knife, fork, plate, glass of water and a crepe of their choosing in French. Elisabeth was fantastic at encouraging them all to try and helped with their pronunciation.
Following a delicious tasting of crepes we returned to School and made our lovely hosts a home-made thank you card with the vocabulary we had learnt that morning.
Merci Beaucoup, Elisabeth and Ypres.
