Cheltenham Science Festival 201614th June 2016

Written by: Deborah Southgate

Last week we had some very interesting sessions at the Cheltenham Science Festival with our Year 3 and Year 4 pupils.

During our first session, Marty Jopson, Resident Scientist from the BBC's One Show, explained why soap bubbles disappear and showed us electrical charges 'dancing' to music as we explored the science of everyday life.

This was followed by a walk to St Andrew's Church Hall for a dance and drama workshop with FLUX Dance. The children used movement to represent various forces with a fantastic finale involving a parachute!

The lovely sunshine enabled us to enjoy our packed lunch in the Town Hall gardens.
