About Willow

Willow is housed in the purpose-built Reception link classroom which leads directly onto the garden. Whilst they do have some structured activities, pupils continue to follow the Early Years' Foundation Stage and a large part of their learning is child-initiated so they make full use of the garden as their 'outdoor classroom'.

During a normal week, the pupils enjoy sessions led by specialist teaching staff covering French, Drama, Music and PE. Cookery is also regularly incorporated into their lessons and Willow is close to the small Hillfield kitchen area, of which they make full use!
